Monthly Prayer Meetings

The prayer ministry at FCC of Katy is a foundational ministry that the church, its members, and associates rely upon. Through this ministry, many have witnessed the Lord’s miraculous and awe-inspiring power, mercy, and grace.

On the third Thursday of every month, CWF holds a prayer meeting, which is typically held in the Fellowship Hall at the Church. The meetings kick-off at 6:30 p.m. with a “bring your own brown-bag” supper, followed by a devotional reading, and the sharing of praises and concerns. Each attendee is asked to bring their praises and concerns in writing so that they may be read and placed in the "Book of Prayer Concerns.” This book is a collage of prayers that have been lifted up…and answered. It is amazing to see the journey the Lord leads us on!

CWF monthly prayer meetings are an opportunity for women to fellowship with other sisters of Christ and commune with God in a safe, non-judgmental environment. We look forward to seeing you at our next prayer meeting!

Annual Women’s Retreat

FCC of Katy Women’s Annual Retreat held Disciples Oaks Conference Center in Gonzales, Texas, started in 1989 as a way for the women of the church, along with their friends and family, to come together for a time of fellowship and spiritual renewal--providing an opportunity for women to rekindle their faith walk, rejuvenate their spirits, and nourish their minds--enabling them to return to the world inspired!

Although the retreat has grown and taken on many different themes, the intent remains the same: to refresh the spirits of those attending by offering a secure and non-judgmental environment in which they can commune at the feet of our Savior, Jesus the Christ, and share in spirit-filled fellowship with other women of faith.

We ask that you prayerful consider joining us at this year’s retreat. So often, we as women do not take time to meditate and listen to what God wants to share with us. Retreat allows us to rekindle our relationship with our Savior, Jesus the Christ, re-open our minds to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and communion with our Lord. We look forward to your fellowship!
