Children

We invite all children into the life of our church community in whatever way makes you most comfortable.

Some parents keep their children in the service, and that’s totally fine. We have an area at the front with toys and books and chairs and we don’t mind the extra noise.

For parents of infants and toddlers, we have a nursery that opens before the church service begins. Our nursery workers are all trained and background checked and our nursery room has plenty of toys. We use a badge system to ensure children only leave with approved caregivers and, on your first visit, we’ll get a phone number so that you receive a text if any issues require your attention.

During our service, we have a children’s moment. Children are invited to come to the front of the room for a short lesson related to our Scripture reading for the day. After the children’s moment, elementary and pre-teen children are invited to go to their small groups for the remainder of service (these small groups are seasonal. When small groups are on break children can remain in the service.)
