Rev. Heather Patriacca Tolleson – Senior Pastor

It is so wonderful to be back in the area that I grew up in, and serving a congregation committed to creating justice and equality in our community and beyond.  Katy is a growing, diverse community. It is a great place to be.
I graduated from Cypress Falls High School in 1998 and headed to Texas Christian University to Study Religion and Psychology. Immediately after TCU I headed back for my M.Div at Brite Divinity School.  It was in December of 2005 that I was ordained and begin my ministry in Kentucky.  I have served congregations in Texas, Kentucky and most recently Arizona.  I have also served as the Regional Staff for Youth and Children’s ministries in Arizona.
It was the time in Arizona that most changed my life as it was there that I met my husband, got married, and had our first child.  In 2014 we welcomed our second child into the world! We are excited to be here in Texas, serving this wonderful church, around good friends and family, and we look forward to seeing you soon!  If you have any questions please contact us at

Rev. Mike Miller – Minster of Music & LGBT Outreach

I’m very excited to be here serving in ministry at FCC Katy.

In 2014 I graduated from  Western Michigan University with a degree in Vocal Performance and with an emphasis in church music and organ performance. For over a decade, I’ve been fortunate to have served in congregations in Michigan, Kansas, Germany, and now here in Katy, Texas where I have been commissioned into ministry.

I love studying how the Bible talks about the LGBT+ community and how we can build bridges between religious institutions and those marginalized communities in our world. I’m currently working toward a Master’s in Divinity at Phillips Theological Seminary.
