Heather Patriacca Tolleson – Senior Pastor

As an Army Brat, Heather grew up nationwide before coming to Cypress for High School. She graduated from Cypress Falls High School in 1998 before heading to Texas Christian University to Study Religion and Psychology. Immediately after TCU, she got her Masters of Divinity at Brite Divinity School. Heather has served congregations in Arizona, Kentucky, and now Texas. She is currently finishing her doctoral studies.

Heather loves living in Katy and is active in its diverse community. She serves on the Fort Bend County Queer Alliance and is on the board of Katy Pride as the Vice President of Advocacy. Heather has been a very active member of the community volunteering from dog rescues to Katy ISD even being named as volunteer of the year 2022.

She is proud to pastor the first LGBTQ+ affirming church in Katy, TX. She stands tall as a fierce advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, unafraid to voice their rights, be it at school board meetings. organizing events that promote inclusivity, and is dedicated to creating a community of compassion and love for all.
